Ryan Reynolds is known for his quips and snickers. However, the comedian and MNTN chief creative officer recently had a serious conversation about cryptocurrencies. Since last year several celebrities, athletes, singers, and rappers are taking an interest in cryptocurrencies and played their role in introducing them to a bigger audience.
Raynolds was speaking to the journalist and interviewer Emily Chang at Bloomberg Markets recently. When Chang asked him if he holds any cryptocurrencies in his investment portfolio, Reynolds declined to answer the question. However, he remarked that he acknowledges the value of the conversation on the matter and how it can reflect for the masses.

Ryan Reynolds claimed at one point that cryptocurrencies contain a considerable amount of risk. He further explained that corporations and businesses are doing a great job at minimizing the risk factors for the average investor and making them more adaptable for the masses.
It is worth mentioning that many financial institutions only allowed high net worth individuals to add cryptocurrencies to their portfolios despite the popular demand. However, since last year the popularity of the digital asset industry has increased. Meanwhile, government agencies have warned the people against putting all their savings into digital assets without performing their due diligence first.
At one point, during his interview, Reynolds claimed that cryptocurrencies contain the word crypto, that it is not surprising that many people are cynical about the nascent market. He further explained that with time cryptocurrency market has covered a huge distance and proved its place as a long-lasting and stable investment product.

Meanwhile, a solicitor named Tony Buzbee recently told media that he auctioned his $27 million worth of property in Houston for Bitcoin. Tennis star Naomi Osaka also showed interest in cryptocurrencies and NFTs last year. This year, Ajla Tomljanovic, second-best Tennis player, signed a sponsorship deal with BTC Markets, the largest cryptocurrency marketplace operating out of Australia.
